On May 31th, 2019, the Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka held a summing meeting on the aftermath of the April 21th accident. Ambassador Cheng Xueyuan attended and delivered a speech. More than 50 representatives of Sri Lanka overseas Chinese, Chinese-funded enterprises and volunteers were invited to the meeting. All members of CSTG's Sri Lanka subsidiary were present.

On behalf of the Chinese embassy, Ambassador Cheng thanked relevant units and individuals for their contribution to handling in the April 21 terrorist attack. Counsellor Hu Wei read thank-you letters on behalf of the Chinese Embassy. The representatives from different units introduced the feeling and experience during the management work in"4.21 events", represented the willing to work hard and make new contributions for the maintenance of friendly between China and Sri Lanka.

    Finally, Ambassador Cheng personally issued the thank-you letter to CSTG's Sri Lanka subsidiary manager Han Bingbin and other relevant units.
