CSTG Sri Lanka subsidiary company signed MOU with local security company LRDC

On 16 July 2018, HuaTai ZongHeng Seucirty Technology (Pvt) LTD (HTZH security), a fully-owned subsidiary company held by China Security Technology Group (CSTG), held a MOU signing ceremony with LRDC services under Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development at Waters Edge hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Mr. ZhengBao, vice president of CSTG, Mr. Li GuoQing, Director of the CSTG President Office, Mr. Han BingBin, DM of HTZH security, Mr. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Megapolis and western development, Dr. Roshan Gunawardena, Chairman of LRDC, Mr. Bandul Chandrasekara, Managing director of LRDC, Dr. Jagath Munasinghe, Chairman of UDA, Mr Chamathde Silva, Chairman of Waters Edge, Mr. Danushka Ramanayake, Secretary of Media, 20 Sri Lanka media, tens of Chinese Company representatives, Sri Lanka Overseas Chinese Association, Fujian chamber of commerce, about 100 people attended this ceremony.

China has become one of the main development partners of SriLanka, as more and more Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese people have come to SriLanka to involve in business. Chinese enterprises projects include iconic building constructions such as port construction, road construction, drainage tunnel construction, Power station construction, water supply facility construction, hospital construction and more. Correspondingly, security requirement emerged. HTZH security and LRDC which had discussion about how to provide high quality security services for Chinese enterprises, decided to establish a partnership relation.

On the occasion, Dr. Roshan Gunawardena, the Chairman of LRDC gave an introduction about the current demand for high standard security in SriLanka. Considering the social need, LRDC has ambitiously proposed a development strategy to redefine Sri Lanka’s security market service benchmarks by providing high standards of security services. LRDC fully understands that the establishment of an intelligent security system requires a multi-faceted effort under macro-control to bring together and integrate security service providers, law enforcement agencies and rescue service resources affiliated with the Ministry of Health. To achieve this goal, LRDC takes the direct department of the country as the starting point and combines LRDC's strong civil air defense services with the technology of CSTG, which is at the forefront of the world security industry. In the direction of becoming a leader of the local security industry, more and more people are aware that this advanced security solution will bring an unprecedented security service experience and will also provide Chinese companies with a true sense. The ideal security service enables Chinese companies working in Sri Lanka to carry out projects with confidence, further strengthen the trust relationship that China and Sri Lanka have established and witness the birth of a smart city in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Zheng Bao, the vice president of CSTG expressed warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the guests on behalf of CSTG chairman Tan Feng and colleagues. He also stated that LRDC is a security company that is highly respected and provides high quality security services in Sri Lanka. CSTG reached a consensus on the smart security system, which will strengthen the confidence of the two parties in cooperation.  Mr. Zheng Bao also expressed that CSTG is committed to following the principle of “Consultation, Contribution, and Shared Benefits” and hoped to actively promote pragmatic cooperation with colleagues in Colombo. He stressed that under the model of “material-share, capability-integrated, and risks-common-undertaken”, and adhering to the belief of “providing customers with the highest quality security solutions in Sri Lanka”, both must make joint efforts to ensure the cooperation to yield fruitful results as Win-win. After the speech of Mr. Zheng Bao, HTZH and LRDC formally signed the MOU under the witness of the guests.

Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Mega-polis & western development said that he will promise this cooperation agreement a long-term commitment to bring common wealth to both parties. Chinese companies can safely invest and carry out projects with the full support of CSTG and LRDC and the Sri Lankan government.
